The wharf behind the lobster dinner.

Cribstone Lobster and Portland Lobster Company share a family connection—and a hands-on connection to the catch.

At Cook’s Wharf, we work with local lobstermen as they land their lobster. At Portland Lobster Company, that connection comes to the table on Portland’s waterfront.

Live lobster handled at Cook’s Wharf

Two waterfronts. One connection.

Closer to the catch.

Our own wharf gives the restaurant a direct connection to lobster landed by the local boats we work with. We handle the catch at its source and supply our sister restaurant ourselves, cutting out an extra middleman between the landing and the kitchen.

It means we know the people landing the lobster and stay involved in its care. The same wharf crew handles the live lobster we send to your home.

We work with local lobstermen, keeping the connection between their boats, our wharf and your dinner close.
