20 Pound "Boat Run"

A true working-wharf lobster box, packed with approximately 20 pounds of live Maine lobster from the day’s available catch. “Boat run” means the lobsters are not sorted into one exact size or grade. Your box may include a natural mix of market-size lobsters along with culls.

Culls are live lobsters that are missing one or both claws, or have other minor shell damage, but are still perfectly good to cook and eat. They are common at a working lobster pound and are often a great value because you still get sweet Maine lobster meat without paying for a perfectly graded lobster.
